Sociror's General Manager
Sociror – Sociedade Ibérica de Rochas Ornamentais, LDA., is a Portuguese company, located in the center of the country, District of Lisbon. It was founded in the late 80, by its still general manager Sr. José Bernardino.
Initially dedicated to the processing and commercialization of sawn slab to the national market, holds up to today its innovative spirit and the constant desire to improve more and more the level of product quality that offers to its customers.
Currently Sociror sells limestones and marbles in block, slab and tile, with much of its production destined for international markets.
Our history
José Bernardino, a young man of about 20 years with a great spirit of adventure, without roots in the field of ornamental rocks, but very commited to build and develop a responsible and competitive project in the area of marbles and limestones, iniciated Sociror's activity with just one device and one bridge crane.
Always concerned to achieve a high level of quality and environmental protection, demand for new technologies was a constant in the course of our activity, where "INNOVATE" and "EVOLVE" were the keywords for our growth.
It was with this spirit, based on an honest and responsible production, that we saw our work recognized in the various markets, national and international, creating with our customers a transparent relationship and of deliverability, which has resulted in their satisfaction and thus dissemination of our work.
Currently having industrial buildings and machinery of latest technology, such as a mono blade, polisher, gang saws, resin device, bridge cranes, among others, SOCIROR has a self sufficient structure that allows us to reach out the necessities of the different markets, featuring a wide range of products of excellent quality and competitive prices.
With a turnover of approximately 80% focused for international market, we continue to develop research projects that will enhance the quality of our products conscientiously and protective of the environment.
